All Back Water valves can be installed with a sleeve and lid to allow easy access to the valve. Neoprene O-ring effectively seals valve lid. Acme threads provide positive traction and extra strength. Directional arrows assist in assuring that valve is installed correctly. Sockets/hubs are DWV (Schedule 40) size. (3" & 4" also available with sewer sized hubs) Compact, lightweight and easy to install. Cleanout lid designed for hand tightening. Standard 2" by 4" (nominal) lumber can be used to tighten the cleanout lid on the 3", 4" and 6" valves. Lugs hold the flapper in place but allow for its removal for cleaning of the drain. Injection molded from ABS or PVC, the valve will not corrode and seize open. Quick action flapper allows unrestricted, unidirectional flow. Lightweight flapper reduces "straining" of effluent. Neoprene flapper O-ring is tough, durable, and chemically resistant. Stepped construction provides adequate fall to encourage flow. |
